Let's start!

I've never been lauded. I am used to achieve everything without any compliment. My parents said,

"What is so amazing about the competition you have won? You just wasted your precious time to do a lot of useless activities. It's much better for you to go around the lawn and mow the grass."

Yeah, they will only praise me if I do some house chores. If I go to school on my holidays to finish my research, they will only reprimand me like a criminal. And, the way I respond to their painful words is so pathetic. I can only stammer to answer them.

But, they are not that bad though. When I feel drowsy and need massage, my mom will always be ready to stay awake until late at night to relax my body. And my dad will be busy in the kitchen to cook me a bowl of instant noodle.

When I think about that further, I believe my parents do not hate me at all. What are their premises so that they still stay beside me when I am tired? In my view, the reason they treat me that cruel everytime I go to school to finish my research on holidays is because of their love as parents. They don't want their child to get sick because their child is too busy to finish the research. Maybe they just want their child to live a simple life.

But, what can I do to stop my fanaticism to science and research? I really love research.

Anyway, I love my parents^^
